Why pray...

Prayer is an essential part of our relationship with God. It allows us to talk with Him, express our gratitude, thanksgiving, and ask for guidance (Proverbs 3.5-6). When we pray, we show our trust in God and acknowledge His power and sovereignty over our lives through the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Trusting God means believing that He has a great plan for us and that he will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13.5). Through prayer, we can receive God's love, forgiveness, comfort, strength, peace, joy, healing, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, revelation, faith, a sound mind, restoration, creativity, prosperity, light, and greatness in Christ.

 

When we know that God is for us, so who can be against us (Romans 8.31), we can be great by faith.
